Handprint art is trendy in 2022. It's cool because the kid may come back to it many years later and see the handprint. It represents that they were there. I've got an odd take on it though. When I see shadows on walls, I think of nuclear bombs in Japan where permanent shadows were printed on walls from the nuclear explosion. I know it's a dark thought, but that's what it sparks when I see human imprints on walls.
