This makes no sense. Anybody involved in something like this always does a short time in prison, then proceeds to get wealthy beyond their wildest dreams with books, movies, etc. about their memoirs. If the notes had stated she was ashamed for what she had done, that would make sense, but just being scared of being broke?
I could be wrong and I don't have sympathy for her. She played with fire and got burnt. Plus, she got very wealthy with misdeeds. This will go down in history as another mysterious suicide connected to politics.
