Anything That Makes Fun Of MSNBC Is Funny

This is great. I loathe MSNBC like MSNBC loathes all that is right. They say the dumbest things all of the time. This is one of their higher points.

ChaCha - What Will They Come Up With Next?

A friend of mine told me about ChaCha paying guides, so I looked into it. It's a really interesting website and it's a free mobile service that will answer any question you ask it - for free! I was confused by it all for a while and I'm sure others will be too. I'll attempt to clear some of the confusion up.

Did Something Happen To Football Fans?

I'm not much a football fan. I don't dislike it. It just bores the hell out of me. However, I will watch some of the Superbowl if out of curiousity from all of the hype and the commercials have so much money poured into them that they are usually entertaining. The commercials seem to take more time that the actual game anyhow.

InfraGard. Is Your Boss An Official Junior G-Man?

Before I get on the subject of InfraGard, let me explain that I enjoy all conspiracy theories for the entertainment value if nothing else. The amount of work put into many of them is like a never ending lie. As soon as they're debunked, they come up with another twist to make their unproven theory true. It's almost as entertaining as listening to a global warming scientist, but better.

I also realize the danger that they can pose to those that follow blindly, but everything has a downside.

Diversity Causing False Sense Of Content Or Just A Good Excuse?

This story about the U.S. Army's Terrorist, Nidal Hassan is infuriating. I'm not sure many people who are Veterans understand just how ridiculous the whole Fort Hood terrorist attack has been. The article states,

"The picture emerging from the information examined by investigators is one of supervisors who didn't heed their own warnings about an officer ill-suited to be an Army psychiatrist."

Trucking Blogger Makes History By Getting A Reply From The ATA

I love to hear complaints about bloggers from the mainstream media. Bloggers are slowly taking a serious bite out their territory and the good ones are making a difference. The Mayor of Newark, Ohio put a full page rant in the newspaper about them, Glenn Beck constantly tries to characterize them as 40 year old virgins in their Mother's basement, and every other media outlet loathes them in a similar way. Why all the fuss?

Secret To Living Past 100 Years Old

Did you ever have someone come up to you out of the blue and just strike up a conversation? I've always wondered if it just happens to me or if there are other folks that get hit out of the blue with a stranger's tales that they feel you need to know. Usually these converstations turn out to be a sales pitch or a creative beggar's way of entertaining me before they ask for a dollar. This one was an exception. I'm quite certain the story I'm about to tell you is just an old man looking to torment my sense of reason.

Last Surviving WW1 Veteran

I found this interview fascinating. Frank Woodruff Buckles discusses The First World War and relates to current events. Though disheartening, it was comforting to hear him say that he couldn't understand things today either. If he couldn't do it in 107 years on this earth, it's no wonder that I can't either.

Arrow Trucking Strands Drivers For Christmas - Hard Smack Of Reality

Arrow Trucking "suspended operations" and left about 900 drivers stranded on Christmas Eve. They shut off their fuel cards, which in effect stops a driver's ability to move past what fuel he has in his truck. Trucks get about 6 mpg, so you're looking at a cost of about .44/mile to move the truck. Roughly $200 for every 500 miles away from home that driver may be.
